Take three young jazz musicians, heaps of concentrated musicality, boundless passion and a pinch of humour; all which contribute to make the melodic jazz of the Silvan Joray Trio. On one side, there is a well-balanced band that harmonizes wonderfully with one another, and on the other, the catchy and imaginative compositions of the bandleader. The Trio entices the listener with verve and vitality, transporting them on a musical journey filled with moments of playful interaction, dreamy melodies and quick-flying rhythms.

This quartet consists of four young professionals of the Swiss jazz scene. They come from Bern, Basel and Israel.
They are constantly refining their interplay and looking for new inspiration. The different composing styles of the members add up to a diversified program that tells an honest and thrilling story.

Die Joray Brüder werden von ihrer Faszination am Jazz vorangetrieben und reissen das Publikum mit in ihre Klangwelt, die spiralförmig tief in die Geschichte des Jazz führt. Inspiriert von ihren Vorbildern, Musikern wie John Coltrane und Wes Montgomery, spielen sie Eigenkompositionen und interpretieren Jazzstandards auf eine frische Weise, die den alten Traditionen neues Leben einhaucht.
Begleitet von einer fein aufeinander abgestimmten Rhythmusgruppe verschmelzen Saxophon und Gitarre zu einer Einheit und werden so zu einem bleibenden Klangerlebnis, das von Swing über Balladen bis Latin reicht.
